AFG has added bespoke SME non-bank lending specialist Oak Capital to its Commercial Lending panel to broaden the service capabilities of our membership across Australia.
Oak Capital Chief Executive & Founder Stephen Mitchell and Head of Distribution Nick Green applauded the new alliance, which comes on the back of Oak Capital’s continued increase in aggregation partnerships in 2021.
Mr Mitchell said: “Our newly formed partnership with AFG is an enormous move for us and further diversifies the Alternative Funding options for AFG and its members”.
“This clearly demonstrates Oak Capital is leading the way in the SME Non-Bank Lender space and is the broker-preferred bespoke funder of choice in the Alternative Lending arena”.
“Having the ability to work closely with one of the largest and most diversified aggregators in the country and its circa 3,000 strong membership is a very exciting proposition and one that we cannot wait to bring to life!”
The addition of Oak Capital to AFG’s commercial panel further supports AFG’s mission to continue to grow together with its members.
Mr Green added: “This announcement is the culmination of an extensive amount of work done over a number of months between Oak Capital and AFG. We are extremely excited about this amazing opportunity and cannot wait to get to work with arguably Australia’s number one aggregator in market.”
“Partnering with AFG further extends Oak’s reach and supports our continued growth strategy leading into 2022.”
AFG Head of Sales Distribution Chris Slater said: “We are very pleased to welcome Oak Capital to the AFG Commercial panel. Their inclusion further expands our commercial offering to our brokers at a time when SMEs are looking for more lender options.
“Oak Capital has shown that there is demand for their products in the third-party market and has impressed us with their market proposition,” said Mr Slater.
“Stephen. Nick and the team at Oak Capital are great operators, and we look forward to working with them. We are confident they will help our brokers find the right solutions for their SME customers.”
